Assistant Facilities Manager Job ID 233904 Posted 18-Aug-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Facilities Management Location(s) Findlay - Ohio - United States of America **About the Role:** As a CBRE Assistant Facilities Manager, you will oversee facilities operations across a 1 million square foot manufacturing facility. This includes managing both soft and hard services, scheduling preventive maintenance, assigning work orders, and coordinating with vendors to ensure services are completed efficiently and on schedule. This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans. **What You’ll Do:** + Collaborate closely with the Sr. Facilities Manager to ensure budget alignment and timely completion of services. + Utilize the CMMS system to manage work orders and assign tasks based on priority and urgency. + Oversee vendors, including scheduling and providing regular updates on progress. + Ensure compliance with safety protocols by all vendors and contractors on-site. + Provide prompt updates on ongoing services and notify upon completion. + Apply knowledge of HVAC and MEP systems to effectively communicate service needs and updates. + Create and process purchase orders (POs) and maintain accurate documentation. + Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision. + Document and update clients using CMMS programs. + Build and maintain relationships with clients and landlords directly. + Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems. + Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement. + Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team. + Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. + Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations. **What You’ll Need:** + Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems. + Experience collaborating with facilities services in a manufacturing environment. + Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedent. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. + Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. + Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations. + Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Assistant Facilities Manager position is $65,000 annually [or $31.25 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Assistant Facilities Manager position is $74,000 annually [or $35.58 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
