Job Description

Join our team as an Assistant Facilities Manager and play a key role in managing daily operations across multiple sites, ensuring seamless functionality of front desk, janitorial services, amenities, parking, shipping and receiving, and general maintenance. Collaborate with external service providers to maintain high standards of quality and timely response to issues.

ResponsibilitiesManage daily facilities operations across multiple sites.Work closely with external service providers for consistent quality.Support office renovations, relocations, and space planning projects.Assist in tracking budgets, contracts, and purchase orders.Prepare basic financial and operational reports.Coordinate onboarding and offboarding logistics.Identify maintenance needs and support preventative safety programs.Act as a liaison for building management and internal teams.Handle direct and high-standard client interactions, particularly with senior clients.Essential SkillsCustomer serviceFacilities maintenanceHVACFacility managementVendor managementCMMS utilization and knowledgeRepair skillsFacilities coordinationAdditional Skills & Qualifications3–5 years of experience in facilities, property management, workplace operations, or related field.Familiarity with budgeting, procurement, and vendor relationships.Working knowledge of building systems like HVAC and electrical.Strong organizational and project coordination skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite.Certifications like FMA or CFM are a bonus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The role is primarily based in a standard office space within a Class A building in Oakland. Occasional travel to other locations may be required. The work environment is professional and collaborative, offering access to modern facilities and amenities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oakland, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.56/hr.
