Roles and Responsibilities (but are not limited to):

Oversight multiple COEs tasks to ensure consistent and effective policies and procedures application during monthly/quarterly close process including account reconciliations, GE Corporate Data Request (DR) submissions, and adjusting entries.Lead STAT audit activities for multiple legal entities.Oversight Treasury related processes including banking process management to ensure regular payments, foreign currency and hedging transactions are conducted in a timely and compliant way.Perform financial analysis of balance sheet accounts to ensure compliance, integrity of account balances/financial reporting and effectiveness of business processes.Proactively work with regional and technical controllership teams to advise on complex technical accounting issuesWork closely with financial and operational leadership to proactively assess and manage financial/operational risks. Interpret these risks & opportunities to local circumstances & present workable solutions. Drive the solutions implementationLead, participate and provide inputs into GE Healthcare simplification initiativesPartner with Sr. Tax Analyst to improve Stat to GAAP and Stat to Tax processesDrive closure of open items and proactively work to prevent future issues / manage risk. Lead resulting corrective action process implementation and follow up throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

Min 3+ years of accounting or finance experience in multinational business /Healthcare industry/similar Industrial sectorBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other business-related fieldsDemonstrated experience and understanding in U.S. GAAP, local GAAP, authoritative accounting literature (i.e. FASB pronouncements) and local TAXExcellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levelsAble to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing (Korea and English)Clear thinking/problem solving:  successfully lead projects/process improvements working with commercial/operations/finance functionsSolid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, OAS, Salesforce, OBIEE, Hyperion, SAP etc.)
