Assistant Controller
Job Title: Site Controller/Cost Account Analyst
Job Description

We are seeking a Site Controller/Cost Account Analyst to serve as a business partner and consultant to the senior leadership team. This role involves implementing various financial controls, conducting end-of-month reviews, participating in monthly financial scorecard reviews, and contributing to quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting. This position is onsite, requiring residence in or willingness to relocate to Manchester, CT.

ResponsibilitiesAct as a business partner and consultant for the senior leadership team regarding financial issues.Function as the manager of controlling functions for the plant.Collaborate with other controllers and financial functions within the company.Drive budget, forecasting, and accounts payable processes.Establish monthly final accounts for the manufacturing site according to local statutory and company guidelines.Support and follow-up on Capex, taking ownership of site assets.Conduct project follow-ups for building and equipment.Analyze financial performance deviations and support improvement actions.Adhere to controlling standards and company policies, including MICR and legal regulations.Ensure compliance with accounting and reporting rules.Implement SAP CO in the manufacturing site.Perform additional responsibilities as required.Essential SkillsForecasting expertiseCost Accounting AnalysisCost Accounting ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or EconomicsMinimum of 5 years of relevant finance controlling experience in a manufacturing environmentIntermediate to Advanced Excel skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Sage 100 is a significant advantageSelf-starter with a strategic mindsetAbility to work independently while multitaskingStrong knowledge of production processes and operationsExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsMinimal travel required – 10%Work Environment

The position is based in an office setting, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The role requires on-site presence.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
