Assistant Controller
Key Responsibilities: + Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. + Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. + Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures. + Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure accurate cost accounting and inventory valuation. + Utilize SAP to manage financial data, generate reports, and support decision-making. + Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. + Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes. + Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff as needed. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred). + 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. + Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls. + Proficiency in SAP (FI/CO modules preferred). + Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools. + Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Skills Accounting, General ledger, Month end, Financial reporting, Financial statement, cost accounting, Balance sheet, Gaap, Audit, Reporting, Budgeting, Journal entry, Sap, Bank reconciliation, Fixed asset, Reconciliation, Accounts payable Top Skills Details Accounting,General ledger,Month end,Financial reporting,Financial statement,cost accounting,Balance sheet,Gaap,Audit,Reporting,Budgeting Additional Skills & Qualifications -Strong leadership and managment for a team -SAP experience -Cost and manufacturing is a MUST Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
