With over 650 student-athletes participating in UW's 22 sports programs, the department of Intercollegiate Athletics is committed to providing student-athletes with the ability to compete for national and conference championships while working toward a degree from one of the world's leading public research universities. **Washington Athletics has an outstanding opportunity for an Assistant Coach, Women's Soccer to join their team.** The primary duties of University of Washington Athletic Department coaches are to teach, instruct, educate and impart knowledge to student-athletes regarding the rules and fundamentals of their respective sport with the goal to continuously improve and achieve athletic excellence. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** Assist with all aspects of the Division I Women's Soccer program at the University of Washington. This will include but is not limited to: + Coaching current student-athletes. + Recruiting travel and tracking prospective student-athletes. + Assist with the daily operations of the program. Assist with team and administrative travel. + Assist with fundraising and community service activities. Compliance with the rules and regulations of the University, the NCAA, the Conference, the State of Washington and any other governing body is of paramount importance to the University. The overall responsibility of this position is for the successful operation of the program in full compliance with all such rules and regulations. As a condition of employment, the Employee shall be required to participate in rules education programs offered by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS** Bachelor’s degree and two years of successful experience coaching soccer at a collegiate and/or professional level; or a combination of education and/or competitive experience playing and/or coaching soccer at a collegiate/professional level. Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration. **Additional Requirements:** Excellent written and verbal skills.
