Our client, a leader in the commercial real estate industry, is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to join their team. As an Assistant Chief Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting the operational excellence of the building systems. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully with the organization.

**Pay Range:** Competative
**What's the Job?**
+ Supervise and direct contractors while monitoring their performance under the Chief Engineer’s guidance.
+ Assist in formulating and implementing a preventive maintenance program.
+ Train and supervise the engineering team to enhance their capabilities.
+ Maintain the work order system (CMMS) and address tenant service requests promptly.
+ Respond effectively to emergencies and communicate efficiently with clients and building occupants.
**What's Needed?**
+ 3-5 years of related work experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry.
+ Trade school education, union training, military service, or college education is desirable.
+ Universal CFC EPA certification or a willingness to achieve it within the first year (with assistance).
+ Leadership and/or supervisory experience is preferred.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams) and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
