ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Rubi team as an Assistant Buyer, focusing on our Lifestyle category, on a 12-month maternity leave cover. You will enable our vision by supporting your team to develop and buy profitable and sustainable lifestyle products that align with our brand DNA and which our customers love. You will be supported by your category buyer to participate in post seasonal reviews and will apply lessons to product decision making and provide customer focused solutions which will offer growth to the category. You will partner across categories and all Brand functions to ensure that we are delivering cohesive ranges and will execute category strategies that are in line with range strategy, financial objectives and which fall within milestone calendar timelines. You will work alongside Product Developers, suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure we are following the Product operating model and Group frameworks, while protecting brand DNA and maximising profitability during production. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Degree/qualification in relevant field i.e. BuyingPrevious experience in a similar Assistant Buyer role is idealHands on product development experience, with the ability to manage OTB with a Planner Proficient capabilities in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Illustrator. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate to internal and external stakeholders with confidenceStrong organisation, planning and time management skills
