4 Year Degree The University of North Alabama division of Athletics is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator for the Baseball program. This position is responsible for assisting the head coach with planning and organizing all phases of the baseball program. Responsibilities include coaching and administrative duties as directed by the head coach, but are not limited to: assisting in practice planning and field coaching (running drills), position-specific player development and skills training, recruiting, game preparation, scouting, and community involvement. Additionally, this position provides leadership and support for the vision and strategies of the head coach, along with recruiting coordinator responsibilities. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Minimum qualifications for this position include a bachelor’s degree is required; experience recruiting student-athletes is preferred and preference will be given to candidates that can demonstrate a proven ability to recruit quality student-athletes; playing/coaching experience at the intercollegiate level in baseball is preferred; collegiate, club, or professional recruiting/coaching experience is preferred with preference given to candidates with three to five years of successful collegiate/club/professional recruiting and/or coaching experience; knowledge of and experience with NCAA compliance is preferred; and knowledge of Division I baseball and NCAA rules preferred.  In addition, a current, valid driver’s license is required as is a CPR certification, renewed annually.
