Job Description
The Abercrombie & Fitch team is seeking a Digital Tech / Asset Specialist with a strong passion for e-commerce studio photography. In this role, you’ll own on-figure imagery workflows while serving as a digital technician on shoot days. You’ll collaborate closely with Art Direction, Styling, Studio Production, and Photography teams in a fast-paced, high-volume studio environment.
This position is ideal for someone with a sharp eye for detail, deep expertise in Capture One and file management, and a collaborative mindset. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring imagery meets brand standards while helping the studio operate efficiently and seamlessly.
This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.
What Will You Be Doing?
Serve as on-set Digital Tech, supporting studio teams and troubleshooting camera, computer, and workflow issuesAct as the primary point of contact for internal asset management and retouching requestsAudit and maintain digital imagery to ensure alignment with current brand and style standardsCrop, rename, organize, and upload studio imagery to internal servers and DAM platformsPartner with Creative and Retouching teams to build and maintain Capture One sessionsCollaborate cross-functionally to refine and improve digital workflows for greater efficiencyUpload and manage assets in the DAM for easy partner accessWork closely with stylists, art directors, hair, and makeup teams to maintain style guide consistency and support updates as neededParticipate in collaborative reviews around posing, lighting, and editing to ensure best-in-class final imageryWork in Adobe Photoshop, Figma, and Capture One in accordance with company standardsMaintain photo equipment and uphold studio organization and cleanlinessWhat Do You Need To Bring?
Perform light photo assist work on an as-needed basisBachelor’s degree preferred1+ years of relevant experience in a studio or e-commerce environmentProven experience managing digital workflows using Capture OneAbility to troubleshoot camera, lighting, and technical issues with confidenceExceptional attention to detail, particularly around color accuracy and image qualityWorking knowledge of photography fundamentals, lighting, composition, and photo editingBasic retouching and editing skillsProficiency with Mac OS and DSLR camera systemsStrong organizational and time-management skillsA collaborative, humble, and solutions-oriented approach to workComfort problem-solving in a fast-paced environmentOpen-minded, receptive to feedback, and eager to learnPrior in-studio photography experienceA genuine passion for great brands and thoughtfully crafted productsOur Company
