As an Asset Servicing Asset Manager I within the IMOS product and service offering team, you will be tasked with the responsibility of managing Income and Corporate Actions operations, as well as overseeing ongoing remediation activities.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of all Asset Servicing Income and Corporate Actions processes. Set up daily accruals in the asset servicing systems and ensure timely settlement is performed on a daily basis in a controlled manner. Identify and repair exceptions to ensure timely projection of income accruals and settlement in the client’s liquidity portfolio, the Investment Book of Record. Perform control checks and verifications to ensure any missing accruals are set up timely. Understand the regulatory requirements by working with Risk & Control, Compliance, Industry (ISDA/Equities industry groups/DTCC, etc.), and internal stakeholders. Diligently follow the end-to-end control processes. Recommend process and system enhancements. Deliver a successfully controlled environment of Asset Servicing. Ensure all controls and checks are completed by the end of the day.Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:
Good understanding of IB products, including but not limited to Income and Corporate Actions, Trades, Reconciliations Good understanding of market regulations and nuances Good business analysis skills to drill down the complex asset servicing events for multiple jurisdictions Good problem solving skills in order to identify, understand, and address operational and technical issues Good communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop relationships across the various stakeholders including Senior Business executives Control mindset to identify process control gaps, prioritize, and mitigate operational risk 6+ years of experience with investment banking environment is a must in Middle Office / Trade Support Bachelor’s degree
