Asset Servicing Analyst

As an Asset Servicing Analyst in the Markets Asset Servicing Team, you will play a vital role in accurately and promptly processing all income and corporate actions for equities and fixed income products. This position provides a unique opportunity to enhance your product knowledge by working across various business lines. You will collaborate closely with trading desks, middle office, finance teams, and settlements, gaining valuable insights into the diverse operations of J.P. Morgan. Your efforts will ensure accuracy and efficiency in processing, contributing to the overall success of our securities management.

Job responsibilities:

Processing of Dividends / Coupons and or Corporate Action events (voluntary and mandatory) across various markets including US, Canada, Central, and South AmericasLiaise with front and middle offices, depositories, global custodians, and market counterpartiesManage daily workflow with tight deadlines and high transaction volumesEnsure timely and accurate regulatory reporting and daily controlsManage / reconciliation of daily cash and stock breaksDrive changes for efficient and cost-effective process improvementsAct as escalation contact, resolving complex dividend-related queriesEstablish relationships with front and middle offices, global custodians, and market counterpartiesEnsure adherence to escalation policies and maintain awareness of risk policiesWork on projects for industry mandates, process improvements, and client requirements

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or equivalent experienceStrong risk and control awareness with ability to implement mitigating controlsAbility to prioritize workloads and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracyExceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressureStrong relationship-building skills and ability to develop partnershipsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh attention to detailProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Asset servicing experience in securities operationsKnowledge of transaction/trade lifecycleAbility to adapt to rapidly changing business and technology needs
