Asset Recovery Specialist Details:

Temp-to-Hire position$19.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Managing and documenting collection activities and account historiesNegotiating payment plans and settlementsPreparing and filing legal documents (summons, complaints, garnishments, judgments, etc.)Maintaining the Oregon legal log and meeting deadlinesUsing skip tracing tools to locate customers and recover assetsMonitoring bankruptcy accounts for recovery opportunitiesEnsuring compliance with state and federal regulationsCommunicating professionally with customers, vendors, and legal partnersFollowing up with process serversMeeting department performance and attendance standards

Asset Recovery Specialist Qualifications:

2+ years in debt recovery or a related field REQUIREDStrong communication and negotiation skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational abilitiesSound decision making and the ability to stay composed under pressureExperience in collections, recovery, repossessions, or skip tracingProficiency with Microsoft Office and web based softwareAbility to interpret documents and compose clear written reportsTyping speed of 50+ WPM and 100 KPH alphanumericHigh school diploma/GED requiredAssociate degree preferredApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
