SALARY RANGE: Estimated $110,000 - $125,000 annually *

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Asset Manager located at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, MA. This position provides division-level support to the Base Information Transport Infrastructure (BITI) branch within the C3I & Infrastructure Division. This division focuses on providing enterprise support to the Air Force, Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve installations and bases.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree and 12-15 years of experience, 5 of which must be in the DoDComprehensive knowledge of principles, policies and practices of systems acquisitions and program management, and knowledge of the roles and relationships within the DoD and Air ForceKnowledge of asset and service management solutionsAbility to use organization skills to streamline processesAbility to organize and interpret large amounts of dataStrong verbal and written communications skillsAdvanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPointExperience work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
CERTIFICATIONS: One of the following is required:
Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM)Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP)ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Asset Manager will maintain the lifecycle repository for all assets (hardware, software, services, databases, etc.) within the assigned program. Additional duties include:
Work with Financial Management (budget) as required for any recommendations/changes to the Program budget; work with the Program Manager for approval on funding re-allocations as needed; develop non-funded requirements, as well as submittals for any sustainment renewals requiring additional funding; attend management reviews as requiredTrack, validate and update all hardware and software assets against Program baselineReview all Asset Management Forms (AMFs) and Product Support Forms (PSFs) delivered to the Air Force by system integrators/subcontractors; complete draft Comment Resolution Matrix (CRM) letters and develop required remediation actions if recommending disapprovalAssist with preparing and reviewing the Asset Management/Product Support sections of Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), Technical Requirement Documents (TRDs), Contract Data Requirement Listings (CDRLs) and Technical Manuals (TMs) to provide direct logistics support for asset accountability and sustainment documentsValidate all OEM renewals and review List of Materials (LOMS) from the vendor for inconsistencies, etc.Validate End of Life/End of Support (EOL/EOS) dates for all equipment with sustainment and engineeringAdvise PMs of obsolescence and sustainment issues within the weapon system Program; track tech refresh strategies with the engineersReview quarterly reports, prepare briefings to be communicated to management status of the systemInterface with License Management for any license issues/tracking/reportingActively participate in cross-functional IPTs with matrixed personnel
