Asset Management Lead
Job Title: Asset Management Lead Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: None Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None * * * **The Opportunity:** CACI has an immediate opening for an Asset Management Lead. You will lead a team of 4 to 6 asset specialists in providing end-to-end asset management services from asset procurement, shipment, warehousing to distribution. You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for ensuring configuration control of both contractor and customer IT assets. Successful candidates will manage both the process and execution of the process, ensuring team members are documenting and/or validating the movement and transfer of IT assets via routine Install, Moves, Adds and Changes (IMACs) or Special Projects. **_This position is on-site._** We are looking for someone who shows initiative. The candidate will be self-directed, organized, and results driven. In this role, the candidate will work as a mentor and teacher, working to identify skills gaps within the team and providing guidance and leadership to fill them through training and performance improvement. **Responsibilities:** + Manage inventory, and lifecycle tracking of IT assets across CISA warehouses, and facilities + Ensure accurate preparation, processing, and tracking of required government documentation for shipping, receiving, transfers, and inter-agency movements in accordance with CISA asset management directives + Maintain complete, accurate, and timely asset records in the CISA asset management system (Sunflower) + Oversee excessing, disposal, redistribution, and redeployment of IT equipment in compliance with all applicable regulations + Ensure secure data destruction for assets designated for disposal, including removal, labeling, and degaussing of storage media + Oversee removal, transport, and return of reusable servers, network, storage, voice, video, and other IT equipment to designated facilities + Oversee shipments and ensure all assets are scanned, stored, and tracked in designated locations within the asset management tool + Plan, conduct, and validate full physical inventories; investigate and resolve discrepancies + Prepare and deliver recurring and ad hoc asset management reports, including transaction volumes, timelines, and system accuracy + Coordinate retrieval and movement of assets marked for disposal across multiple CISA sites + Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures and document management processes + Provide process improvement recommendations and support asset-related special projects + Manage and lead asset management staff, including task prioritization and workload coordination + Coordinate warranty repairs and replacements with vendors and internal teams + Track, restock, and report on consumable IT assets + Present asset status, trends, and reports to CISA leadership and government stakeholders **Qualifications:** _Required:_ + Strong knowledge of IT asset lifecycle management, inventory control, and federal property regulations + Experience with enterprise asset management systems, including Sunflower or comparable platforms + Ability to analyze asset data to identify trends, improve accuracy, optimize inventory levels, and control costs + Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage complex, high-volume asset operations + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present both high-level summaries and detailed operational updates + Demonstrated ability to investigate, resolve, and prevent asset discrepancies and data accuracy issues + Broad understanding of computer hardware, networking, storage, and AV equipment + Familiarity with industry best practices and benchmarking for IT asset management + Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, logistics partners, and stakeholders + Ability to attain CISA/DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) clearance + Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience + Minimum 3 years of experience supporting a federal contract + Experience managing and leading teams in an IT or asset management environment + Demonstrated experience engaging and communicating with government stakeholders + Proficiency in asset reporting and presenting data to senior stakeholders + Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis + Familiarity with federal IT disposal processes and compliance requirements + Experience conducting and validating physical inventories + Experience generating and analyzing asset reports within a CMDB + Hands-on experience with asset discovery tools + Experience using Sunflower and ServiceNow or comparable ITSM/asset platforms + Understanding of how technical tools integrate within an enterprise asset management ecosystem + Experience coordinating warranty repairs and vendor support + Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong prioritization skills + Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs _Desired:_ + Experience with Microsoft Enterprise Licensing + CITAM certification + ITIL 4 Foundations + Software Asset Management + Experience with Intune or SCCM + Experience imaging computers - **_________________________________________________________________________** **What You Can Expect:** **A culture of integrity.** At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
