Asset Management - Institutional Sales Support Switzerland - Associate (Zurich)

The Role
The Swiss-based institutional client advisor team has a need for a sales support associate. This is an integral role within the institutional sales business. The preferred candidate will be required to work closely with the senior client advisors to help build and sustain client relationships within the institutional business of JPMorgan Asset Management (JPMAM). The group is responsible for the distribution of all JPMAM products (segregated solutions, Alternatives, pooled funds, , etc). The target market includes the largest pension funds, insurance companies and foundations headquartered in Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Partner with client advisors to support all facets of the sales and business development processHelp identify new business opportunities and upcoming product searches Conduct market research and market intelligence to support business development and client engagementAssist the sales team in maintaining prospect and client databases, ensure that critical client information is stored and updated in the CRM Tool Support Senior Client Advisors throughout the manager selection process, including RFI, RFP, and beauty contests; coordinate the end-to-end process from initial screening to distribution and follow-upCoordinate with product teams on client presentations, portfolio reviews and ongoing relationship management effortsRespond to client requests and manage client communications efforts to promote continuous sales dialogue and build client relationshipsPartner with marketing team on new product launch initiatives and client eventsInteraction with finance departmentProvide coverage and support for senior sales colleagues, ensuring continuity of client service during absencesUnderstand the regulatory and compliance framework, including Know Your Client (KYC) requirementsProvide coverage and support for senior sales colleagues, ensuring continuity of client service during absencesLead, train, and mentor working students, including recruitment and ongoing guidanceQualifications & Experience Required:
A degree from a university or university of applied sciences (Fachhochschule) is expected
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English is required; French is a plus
Interest and understanding of Asset Management industry and investment funds
Self-starting team player, hardworking and eager to learn
High grade on flexibility and capability to work under with a keen eye for detail
Must be comfortable initiating projects and working under limited direction
Strong communication skills
Analytical skills - The ability to quantitatively analyse JPMAM's and the competition's products/performance
Software and database skills - Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Eager to learn the client on-boarding & operational processes.
