As an Institutional Client Advisor, Vice President in Asset Management, you will report directly to the CEO of Asset Management Australia and New Zealand. You will collaborate closely with three senior Client Advisors in the Institutional and Consultant teams, focusing on Institutional Clients. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver investment solutions to both prospective and existing Institutional Clients, leveraging JPMAM's comprehensive platform, including research, strategy, and products. This role involves direct client responsibility and partnership with senior Client Advisors in managing large Institutional Clients.
Job Responsibilities:
Continue to grow our business by selling investment solutions to Australian and New Zealand Institutional Clients. Provide support to the co-leads of the Institutional business to cover large institutional clients in Australia/New Zealand. Collaborate with the consultant coverage team to gain support from research and field consultants. Identify, initiate, and nurture new client relationships, converting sales leads into investment mandates. Ensure the delivery of exceptional ongoing service to clients. Work closely with JPMAM investment teams and colleagues across J.P. Morgan, including divisions within the Commercial & Investment Bank, to leverage all capabilities for the Australia/New Zealand market. Utilize the Research and Strategy groups within JPMAM to provide relevant advice, analyses, and recommendations to Institutional clients in Australia and New Zealand. Contribute to a team environment focused on achieving long-term, team-based business objectives.Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial services. Proven success in building and expanding a client book at another asset manager. Strong understanding of capital markets and investment solutions across diverse asset classes, investment types, and geographies. Demonstrated ability to prospect and establish new client relationships. Knowledge of Australian superannuation requirements and the ability to apply them in a client-specific context. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Team player with initiative and foresight to anticipate needs and requirements. Highly organized and methodical, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
