Job Description:
The Assembly Worker works as an integral part of the production team responsible for assembly, inspection, packaging and the deburring of parts and/or materials.
Responsibilities:
Assembly Worker Job Responsibilities include:Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fastenersRemoves small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts.Inspects, deburs, and properly cleans parts.Operate and properly adjust all electric and air torque guns, and understand readings on torque wrenches.Education: High School
High school diploma or equivalentExperience: 3 months
Three to six months related experience and/or trainingPhysical:
Assembly Worker physical requirements:Senses Sight and hearing required; must be able to distinguish color (required particularly for electrical wiring).Body Motion Full range including bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, stepping up and down, full wrist action.Weight Lifting requirements are moderate for this job regularly lifting 25 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.Related Experience: production, manufacturing, assembler
