**Job Title: Assembly Worker** **Job Description** Join our team as an Assembly Worker in an industrial manufacturing environment where you will utilize various hand tools, power tools, and small machinery. You will work in a team setting, assembling products according to Standard Work Documentation, Manufacturing Instructions, and Quality Plans. This role requires the ability to sit during assembly and may involve electrical assembly and soldering, testing bearings, and assembling actuators for various clients. **Responsibilities** + Perform assembly tasks using hand tools, power tools, and small machinery. + Adhere to Standard Work Documentation, Manufacturing Instructions, and Quality Plans. + Conduct electrical assembly and soldering, if experienced. + Test bearings by running them through thread rolls. + Assemble actuators using small hand or power tools. + Lift and assemble products weighing 30+ lbs or under. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in using hand and power tools. + Ability to follow step-by-step instructions. + Mechanical assembly skills. + Inspection skills. + Work ethic, reliability, and good attendance. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred but not required. + Experience with packaging, lifting, and general labor. + Soldering and tape measure skills are a plus. **Why Work Here?** We offer a rewarding work environment with benefits such as shift premiums, a full cafeteria with hot and cold meals, and free access to coffee and cappuccino machines. We offer two shifts: 1st shift from 7 am to 3:30 pm and 2nd shift from 3:30 pm to 12 am, with a $3/hour shift premium for the 2nd shift. Training for 2nd/3rd shift candidates takes place on 1st shift for the first two weeks. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belvidere, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
