**Job Title: Assembly Worker - 2nd Shift text 8 4 7 5 8 0 2 8 1 4** **Job Description** Join an industrial manufacturing team where you will perform assembly tasks using hand tools, power tools, and small machinery. You will work collaboratively to assemble products according to Standard Work Documentation, Manufacturing Instructions, and Quality Plans. The role may involve electrical assembly and soldering, testing bearings, and assembling actuators for various clients, with product weights not exceeding 30 lbs. **Responsibilities** + Perform assembly tasks in a manufacturing environment using hand tools, power tools, and small machinery. + Follow Standard Work Documentation, Manufacturing Instructions, and Quality Plans. + Conduct electrical assembly and soldering as needed. + Test bearings by running them through thread rolls. + Assemble actuators for various clients using hand or power tools. + Ensure all assembled products are within 30 lbs or under. **Essential Skills** + Experience with assembly, manufacturing, and packaging. + Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. + Ability to inspect and assemble products efficiently. + Capability to lift and pack items as needed. + General labor skills and soldering experience. + Familiarity with tape measure and assembly line processes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience in a manufacturing setting preferred. + Strong work ethic and reliability. + Excellent attendance and punctuality. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a $3/hour shift premium for 2nd shift, access to a full cafeteria with hot and cold meals, free coffee and cappuccino machine, and participate in company events. Training will occur on the 1st shift for 2nd/3rd shift candidates for two weeks. The shifts available are 1st shift: 7 am - 3:30 pm and 2nd shift: 3:30 pm - 12 am. All candidates will start on Monday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marengo, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
