Our client, an aerospace manufacturing leader, is seeking a Assembly & Test Technician to join their team. As a Assembly & Test Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing support team supporting aerospace production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Assembly & Test Technician
**Location:** Rocky Mount, NC
**Pay Range:** $24.00
**Shift:** 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift available
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform standard testing processes on a variety of aerospace equipment and record and analyze results.
+ Utilize industry-specific tests and testing equipment to ensure quality standards are met.
+ Use precision tools, fixtures, and measuring devices for assembly, inspection, calibration, and testing of hydro-mechanical fuel controls.
+ Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures.
+ Maintain accurate documentation and records, and ensure work areas are organized according to standards.
**What's Needed?**
+ Associate's degree with 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent technical background.
+ Mechanical and technical experience, with proficiency in using precision measuring devices.
+ Basic computer skills, including navigating the internet and MS Office.
+ Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings, and follow detailed assembly and test instructions.
+ Strong teamwork and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on quality and safety.
