Schedule: Monday–Friday, First Shift (6:00 AM – 2:45 PM)
Pay Rate: $27.13 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire a skilled Assembly Technician to support critical aircraft production programs. In this role, your precision, teamwork, and commitment to quality will directly impact the safety, performance, and on-time delivery of advanced aircraft. What You’ll DoAs an Assembly Technician, you’ll be an essential part of the production floor, supporting the build of structural and mechanical aircraft components. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Performing routine production assembly on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, and aircraft systems using manual or automated tools
Following detailed work instructions, blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure quality and compliance
Partnering with Integrated Build Teams (IBTs) and Team Leaders to identify and mitigate production risks using systematic problem-solving methods
Identifying production constraints and escalating unresolved issues through clear, open communication
Using KPI and BPS principles to improve production flow and the work environment
Participating in Lean Manufacturing Systems (LMS) and 5S activities
Supporting teammates through cross-training, mentoring, and collaboration
Supporting overtime as needed to meet customer commitments
Modeling a culture of One Team, Pride, and Ownership
Required QualificationsAbility to work a variable shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) as needed
1+ year of experience in manufacturing and/or fabrication
1+ year of experience reading and interpreting work instructions, blueprints, drawings, or specifications in English
1+ year of experience using software applications such as internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite, or other specialized programs
High School diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
1+ year of aerospace manufacturing experience
Vocational school, associate degree, or related technical training

Pay Details: $27.13 per hour
