Pay Rate: $37.31/HR

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire skilled Assembly Technicians to support critical manufacturing operations in Kinston, NC. This is a great opportunity for experienced assemblers who take pride in precision work and want to contribute to aircraft programs that matter.

What You’ll Do Day to Day

As an Assembly Technician, you’ll perform a wide range of production assembly and installation tasks, including:

Assembling and installing electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, panels, frames, cables, and structural components

Reading and working from blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, specifications, and change documents

Performing drilling, sealing, countersinking, fastening, painting, and varnishing operations

Setting up and performing manual and automated assembly operations and portable machine functions

Completing required data collection and transactions to support assembly progression

Performing continuity checks, functional testing, and in-process quality inspections

Disassembling, reworking, modifying, and reassembling assemblies as required

Using precision measuring instruments to verify quality and conformance

Moving parts, tools, materials, and assemblies within the manufacturing area using assigned equipment

Required Qualifications (Tier 1)

2–4 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience with structural assembly processes including drilling, sealing, fastening, and sub-assembly work

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints

Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as an Assembler/Installer – Structures

Aerospace manufacturing experience

Familiarity with sealants, paints, varnish applications, and countersinking

Pay Details: $37.31 per hour
