**Job Title: Assembly Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. This role involves following assembly prints and work instructions to build and test cable assemblies and wire harnesses, ranging from simple to complex. The ideal candidate will be adept at operating various tools and equipment, including braiders, crimpers, cutters, and testers, while supporting team goals by rotating across different assembly areas. **Responsibilities** + Follow assembly prints, drawings, and work instructions. + Build and test cable assemblies and wire harnesses, from simple to complex. + Operate tools and equipment such as braiders, crimpers, cutters, and testers. + Rotate across different assembly areas to support team goals. + Adhere to all quality, environmental, health, and safety programs. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in assembling and blueprint reading. + Ability to use small hand tools and power tools. + Experience with color matching, production, and machine operation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 50lbs. + Soldering skills. + Familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF. + Understanding and familiarity with meeting all standards QSD and Cost. + Ability to interpret complex prints and schematics. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Red Wing, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
