Job Description
As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling equipment by following blueprints, work instructions, and procedures using hand and power tools. You will work to assemble and attach component parts and sub-assemblies to products based on specifications.
Responsibilities
Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and procedures to assemble equipment using hand tools and power tools.Retrieve, assemble, and attach component parts and sub-assemblies to products based on specifications.Perform hand assemblies, fitting, and adjusting operations of a repetitive nature.Rework non-conforming parts and products to ensure quality.Test equipment according to work card and instructions using the test box.Lift, load, sort, and move materials, supplies, and finished products between storage and work areas safely.Essential Skills
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.Experience in mechanical assembly and reading schematics, with 1-3 years of relevant experience.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Perform quality inspections and use a torque wrench.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to communicate effectively with others.Attention to detail and the ability to perform quality checks.Work Environment
Our work environment is characterized by a strong culture with a small team size, fostering a family-feel atmosphere. You will be working in a warehouse environment that is non-climate controlled, where noise levels can reach up to 90 decibels at certain times. The role is physically demanding, requiring regular talking and hearing, and involves standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day. You must be able to frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
