As an Assembly Technician, you will collaborate with engineering, program leads, and production teams to build composite and metal components for aerospace applications. This role requires high-level candidates who can hit the ground running, with the potential for a long-term contract that may transition to a permanent position.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with engineering and production teams to assemble aerospace components.Use hand tools and power tools for precision assembly and fabrication.Perform drilling and trimming using both manual and fixture-based techniques.Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Work with aerospace fasteners, ensuring proper sizing, torque application, and installation verification.Handle adhesives and resins, including prepping, mixing, bonding, and fitting.Work with composite materials like carbon fiber, fiberglass, and aramid, following aerospace-grade processing.Operate bonding jigs, sealants, fixtures, and perform surface finishing tasks such as sanding, filling, priming, and touch-up painting.

Work Environment
The role is based in a clean production floor environment, operating on a 9/80 shift schedule. The first shift runs from 6am to 3:30pm, and the second shift from 3pm to 11:30pm.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
