Assembly Technician
Job Title: Production Technician
Job Description

As a Production Technician, you will perform all production tasks necessary to build, test, troubleshoot, and repair complex, large-scale inspection systems. You will ensure that components and sub-systems such as robotic handling systems, multi-axis motion control systems, electric wiring harnesses, control and monitoring systems, and plumbing sub-systems are integrated and function seamlessly. Your role will also involve working with Sonix Scanning Acoustic Microscopes, and you will contribute to production schedules and quality expectations.

ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues related to semiconductor equipment, including robotics, linear motion, pneumatics, vacuum systems, controls, and signal processing.Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot problems, identify root causes, and implement improvements.Help maintain and improve existing training documentation for future technicians.Perform production tasks such as crating and uncrating sensitive electronic machinery, mechanical and electrical system assembly, and basic documentation.Essential SkillsProficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.Strong collaboration and communication skills.Experience in semiconductor manufacturing and with inspection equipment.Knowledge of assembly line operations, hand tools, and control systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsProject management experience.Ability to create clear and concise training materials.Knowledge of robotics and control systems is preferred.Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.Why Work Here?

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Springfield, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $31.00/hr.
