**Job Title: Hardware Assembler**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a qualified Hardware Assembler for our medical imaging console manufacturing line. This individual will train on all aspects of hardware assembly and test, including mechanical assembly, electronics assembly, rotator balancing, and in-process and final test and inspection. The position involves supporting daily production of our flagship opto-mechanical medical device. The ideal candidate will have the aptitude to follow manufacturing specifications, become a subject matter expert on assembly, and be able to teach others to assemble.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform mechanical and electronic assembly of medical imaging consoles.
+ Balance rotators and conduct in-process and final test and inspections.
+ Support daily production activities for our opto-mechanical medical device.
+ Follow manufacturing specifications and guidelines closely.
+ Train and mentor others in assembly techniques and processes.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in assembly and blueprint reading.
+ Experience with hardware assembly, mechanical and electronics components.
+ Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in a medical device environment.
+ Ability to work in an ESD controlled environment.
+ Skills in electronics assembly including circuit boards and wiring harnesses.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Minimum of 2 years experience in medical hardware manufacturing.
+ Capability to lift up to 40lbs and perform mechanical assembly of cart frames.
+ Self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
+ Ability to track and manage multiple projects and deadlines.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bedford, Massachusetts.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
