Job Title: Assembly Technician / Assembler

**Position Summary**
The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling mechanical or electro-mechanical components and products according to specifications, blueprints, and work instructions. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Assemble parts, components, or products using hand tools, power tools, and assembly fixtures.
+ Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate builds.
+ Perform visual inspections and functional tests to verify product quality and conformance.
+ Identify and report defective materials or components.
+ Maintain accurate records of work performed, including production logs and quality documentation.
+ Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
+ Assist in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements.
**Qualifications**
+ 2+years of experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly (preferred).
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
+ Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, rulers).
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
+ Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
+ Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification is a plus.
+ IPC 610 soldering cert and/or J standard is a bonus
**Preferred Skills**
+ Experience in a lean manufacturing or ISO-certified environment.
+ Familiarity with ESD-safe practices (for electronics assembly).
+ Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
+ Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
