**Position Overview:**
We are seeking an Assembly Technician to join our team in Newark, DE. This role is essential to our manufacturing process, ensuring that our products meet high standards of quality and efficiency. The Assembly Technician will report to the Manufacturing Supervisor and work fully on-site.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Perform advanced assembly of products according to specifications and instructions.
+ Select materials from kit carts for standard work.
+ Identify and implement improvement ideas and 5S principles.
+ Inspect completed work using designated equipment.
+ Operate various machines and hand tools.
+ Maintain equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
+ Evaluate and modify production processes and equipment to ensure efficiency.
+ Periodically check products to ensure quality and address issues as needed.
+ Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.
+ May require travel to other facilities within Delaware.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Skills and Experience:**
+ High school diploma or equivalency required.
+ Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
+ Basic computer skills and hand tool experience.
+ Strong communication and time management skills.
+ Ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build cross-functional relationships.
+ Understanding of manufacturing products and equipment preferred.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Prolonged standing and repetitive tasks.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination.
+ Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
+ May require wearing a respirator and passing a Fit test.
**Work Schedule:**
+ Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
+ Fridays: May require mandatory overtime
**Compensation:**
+ Pay: $23.00/hr
