Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over one year of experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment. The role requires proficiency with hand and power tools, micrometers, calipers, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Paying in the $20-$25 range based on experience
ResponsibilitiesAssemble, test, and inspect multiple product types from start to finish.Collaborate closely with the operations support team, including Planning, Shop Leads, Machining, Engineering, Quality, and Procurement.Maintain quality expectations and achieve daily production goals.Prepare orders for shipping with proper documentation.Complete all related paperwork, including work orders, inspection documents, and tracking sheets.Utilize SAP software when necessary.Participate in lean activities and continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure a clean and safe workplace.Adapt to other areas as production schedules dictate.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.Essential Skills1+ year of experience as an Assembly Technician.1+ year of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing setting.Experience with hand and power tools, micrometers, calipers, and blueprints.Additional Skills & QualificationsOver three years of related experience or equivalent.Ability to identify colors.Proficiency in reading and understanding work instructions and assembly drawings.Familiarity with various mechanical and electrical measuring equipment.Commitment to excellence and high standards.Ability to manage priorities and workflow.Acute attention to detail.Capability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.Understanding of all safety requirements and cautions.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Our medium-sized manufacturing facility has 60 employees across two plants. The environment can be noisy at times but is typical for a manufacturing setting. The assembly area can be somewhat crowded due to parts laying on the ground. Steel-toed safety shoes and safety glasses are required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
