**Job Title: Assembly Technician $21.50-23+/hr** **6:00am-3:30pm - 1st Shift** **10:00am-6:00pm - Mid Shift** **Job Description** We are currently seeking an Assembly Technician to join our team. This role involves working in the disassembly department where you will be sandblasting, grinding, and finishing various parts. This is a physical position that requires refurbishing pumps and operating various tools. **Responsibilities** + Work in the disassembly department sandblasting, grinding, and finishing various parts. + Operate water bath to clean bolts and nuts in preparation for assembly. + Assist in rotating and buffing parts departments. + Follow work orders for refurbishing parts for industrial vacuums and air compressors. + Operate overhead crane to disassemble units for repair. + Clean and inspect all parts from disassembled pumps. + Evaluate the condition of original parts and refurbish those to be reused. + Type reports to be sent to customers detailing necessary repairs. + Develop repair estimates. + Write technical reports describing the nature of malfunctions and repair measures taken. + Diagnose and repair vane pumps, mechanical pumps, blowers, TMPs, and dry pumps. + Rebuild units according to engineering specs, ISAs, and ISO procedures. + Perform maintenance on shop equipment such as part washers and bead blasters. + Troubleshoot equipment and refurbish parts. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $23.25/hr.
