Assembly Operator
Job Description
As an Assembly Operator, you will play a crucial role in constructing railroad switches. Your daily tasks will involve using both hand and power tools, grinding, deburring, and other essential assembly processes. This physically demanding role requires the ability to lift over 65 pounds regularly.
Responsibilities
Use hand and power tools for assembly tasks.Grind and deburr components as part of the assembly process.Lift components and materials weighing up to 65 pounds.Perform light welding as necessary.Execute various other tasks required in the assembly process.Essential Skills
Strong mechanical aptitude and inclination.Proficiency in using hand and power tools.Experience with grinding and deburring processes.Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
The work environment is a trackworks facility that may be disorganized and is subject to extreme temperatures, being very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The facility is loud, requiring tolerance for noise.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.50/hr.
