We are seeking a skilled Assembly Mechanic with strong mechanical aptitude and experience in TIG welding to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to read and interpret blueprints, work efficiently with hand and power tools, and collaborate effectively within a production line environment.

ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with stainless steel welding.Read and interpret blueprints and drawings accurately.Utilize hand and power tools efficiently.Collaborate with an established team on a true production line.Assemble items and pass them off to the next team member while meeting daily quotas.Take guidance from a department lead.Maintain personal transportation for reliable commuting.Essential SkillsMechanical aptitude and experience with TIG welding.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.Experience with hand and power tools.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Effective communication and basic computer skills.Ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, and occasionally lift and carry up to 70 pounds.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in industrial refrigeration systems.Knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration and electrical controls.Universal EPA certification.Motor alignment experience.Experience in reading blueprints and electrical and electronic schematics.Understanding of electrical and plumbing concepts.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work on a production floor in your own welding section, focusing primarily on stainless steel materials. The facility is equipped with air conditioning and operates on the 1st shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boonton, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
