**Job Title: Assembly Mechanic** Job Description Join our team as an Assembly Mechanic, where you will be responsible for the complete assembly of large industrial process machinery used in plywood manufacturing. You will work from start to finish, assembling, installing, and connecting all structural components, including conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes, bearings, wires, and cables. You will utilize blueprints, schematics, and a variety of tools to ensure the machinery meets engineered specifications. This is a day shift position, working from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities + Assemble large industrial machinery from start to finish. + Install and connect structural components, including conveyors and hydraulic systems. + Utilize blueprints, schematics, and various tools for assembly. + Inspect and test finished machinery to ensure it meets specifications. Essential Skills + Proficiency with blueprints and schematics. + Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics. + Strong mechanical skills and experience in mechanical assembly. + Familiarity with hand, air, power, and torque tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in machine building or as an industrial maintenance mechanic. + Background as a millwright or mechanic is advantageous. Why Work Here? Work Environment You will be working in an industrial fabrication shop environment, where welding, fabrication, and machining of metal occur throughout the facility. The environment can be loud in some areas and may not be the cleanest due to metals manufacturing. Steel-toed boots are required for safety. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
