Job Description
The Assembly Maintenance Lead is a pivotal role that involves performing preventative maintenance on automated plastics assembly equipment. This position requires both mechanical and electrical maintenance expertise. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment independently, while also directing fellow technicians to ensure efficient workflow and task completion.
ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance on automated plastics assembly equipment.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.Direct and schedule work orders for assembly maintenance technicians.Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Troubleshoot PLCs as needed.Run cost reports to ensure equipment repairs are within budget.Essential SkillsMinimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.At least 1 year of leadership experience.Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting; electrical troubleshooting is a plus.Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.Additional Skills & QualificationsA mechanical degree is advantageous.Blueprint reading and industrial welding experience.Knowledge of 3 phase motors and conveyor systems.Reliability and initiative in work performance.Big fan of military backgrounds!Why Work Here?
