Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesSpot and address quality defects in the assembly process and alert supervision for corrective action.Read work instructions to guide proper assembly of products.Properly start up and shut down equipment at the beginning and end of shifts.Communicate effectively with colleagues from other departments as well as direct supervision.Monitor the assembly line and related machinery and tools for proper functionality.Visually inspect finished products to ensure correct assembly and take corrective action if needed.Load and unload components into fixtures and machines.Kit components into job boxes by properly reading labels, Bills of Materials, component markings, and associated documentation.Essential SkillsExperience in manufacturing and assembly.Basic computer knowledge; MS Excel and Word.Good reading and visual comprehension and basic grasp of mathematics.Ability to read measuring devices for assembly and inspection duties.Attention to detail to spot small defects and potential problems.Additional Skills & QualificationsSoldering experience is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is a temperature-controlled manufacturing setting that is clean and bright. The position operates on the first shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime is mandatory at times, especially during the summer, with the expectation of working 1-2 Saturdays per month.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
