Job Description:
Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product.
Responsibilities:
• Set-up and operate one or more of the following machines: KOMAX, SMT, conformal coating, AI, wave, selective solder, etc.• Follow work instructions and/or job traveler included in a kit with required material/parts to complete the job• Operate and set-up a machine to manufacture a product (i.e., PCB, wires, etc.) to supporting customer guidelines and acceptable quality standards (i.e. ISO, IPC, etc.)• Perform basic daily and weekly maintenance recommended by manufacturerEducation: No formal education required.
Experience: 6 months
Physical:
• Job requires that employee is able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time• Must be able to lift 25 - 50 pounds• Must have excellent eyesight and hearing (cannot be color blind)• Work environment includes machines and tools with sharp moving parts and hot surfaces• Employees may be exposed to moderate noise levels and processes that utilize solder, potting material, conformal coating and cleaning agents, which have various odors• Employees must wear safety glasses ,ESD smocks, ESD straps at all times when on the production floor (all of these items are provided by 4Front)Skills:
• Previous EMS experience• Working knowledge of mechanics and electrical systems• Clear understanding of IPC 610 quality standards• Basic component identification skills• Strong analytical, problem solving and innovative solution capabilities• Above average communication ability using strong listening skills and logical, systematic approach to assimilating and sharing information in all areasRelated Experience: Machine Operator, Electronics
