Our Onshore North America Technical Office, under the Projects organization, is looking for a talented individual with technical and Project Management background to join our team who will be responsible for Assembly Engineer for all platforms in Projects. The Assembly Engineer is responsible for the successful management of assembly documentation of SGRE turbines new and old models for ON North America Projects. Role involves close collaboration and coordination with Corporate Technical Office, Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, Construction, Procurement, Sales, Quality and Service organizations. **How You’ll Make anImpact** + Serve as liaison between wind farms and techoffice and support the activities when required. + Write RFI responses under manager supervision& manage and track the dispersion of updated documentation to windfarms, customers and sub-contractors + Manage and track the dispersion of updateddocumentation to wind farms, customers and sub-contractors; Ensure thelatest revision of documents are available to site before the siteoperation starts making sure, they are organized in a logic manner. + Track RFI’s response time from tech office tosite and from corporate to tech office when tech office requests theirsupport and updates the wind farm web sites (distribution method ofinformation). + Assist in evaluation of implementation ofcorporate design procedures for local market implementation or presentimprovements ideas based on the market capabilities and needs. + Evaluate the options of improving proceduresthat can streamline the assembly process on site with a view of globalimplementation and support Sales & Operations Planning and Sales Teamsduring the bidding process for Projects. + Update monthly KPIs related to the activeprojects and initiatives and provide monthly updates for the Onshore NorthAmerica Project Upper Management and CEO of North America. + Follow up with thefactory for the design modifications/reworks defined by engineering andensure implementation of these changes prior to delivery to project site. **WhatYou Bring** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Bachelor’s degree inengineering required, preferably a degree in Mechanical Engineering orElectrical Engineering. + 2+ years of experienceworking in Design Engineering, Project Management and/or Quality + Strong Catia skill preferred,and CAD skills required. + Estimated 10-20%travel. + Wind Power Industry andproduct experience is preferred Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
