Assembly Technician Location: Santa Clarita, CA Job Type: Contract to hire Industry: Manufacturing / Electronics / Aerospace Salary: $18–$25/hour (depending on experience) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM **About the Role:** We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Assembly Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical and/or electronic components, performing quality checks, and ensuring products meet company standards. **Key Responsibilities:** + Assemble products or components according to blueprints, schematics, or work instructions + Use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to complete tasks + Perform inspections and tests to ensure quality and functionality + Maintain a clean and organized work area + Follow safety protocols and company procedures + Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to resolve assembly issues + IPC 610 soldering cert **Qualifications:** + IPC 610 soldering Cert + High school diploma or GED required + 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics + Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity + Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems + Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods Expect a call or text from **Tanner** at **Aerotek** .
