We are seeking skilled Assemblers to join our team in a dynamic production environment. As an Assembler, you will interpret shop drawings and wiring diagrams, and perform assembly tasks with precision and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret Bills of Manufacturing to determine component parts and assembly sequences of electromechanical units.Make electrical connections on cords and wires according to specifications.Modify parts by drilling, tapping, countersinking using machine tools, power, and pneumatic hand tools.Assemble parts, position, align, and fasten assemblies and subassemblies using hand and power tools.Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.Measure parts to determine tolerances using tape measures and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.Attach labels and mark identifying information on parts.Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure they meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.Essential Skills
Consistent work history with experience in manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, construction, or similar fields.High School Diploma or GED.Electrical experience for Bus Way Plugs is a must.Ability to use hand and power tools and read a tape measure for Bus Way Straights.Experience with inventory tracking using computer systems for warehouse roles.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to operate cordless hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools.Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs occasionally and up to 25 lbs often.Finger dexterity for precise and coordinated movements.Desire to work in a production environment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This role is based in a very clean work environment with small assembly stations where employees are 3-5 feet apart. Flexibility is encouraged as employees may work in different departments, including areas resembling a warehouse environment. The facility is large, with over 200 employees. The dress code consists of shorts or jeans, t-shirts (no muscle t-shirts), and steel-toe shoes.
Shifts include 1st (M-TH 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM), 3rd (M-TH 7:30 PM - 5:00 AM), Weekend Day (F-SUN 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM), and Weekend Night (F-SUN 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM). The weekend shift is paid for 40 hours if all three days are worked.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.50 - $22.00/hr.
