**Job Title: Assemblers**
**Job Description**
We are seeking Assemblers who will play a vital role in the production and assembly of electromechanical units. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to read and interpret shop drawings and wiring diagrams, and work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Interpret shop drawings and wiring diagrams.
+ Read and interpret Bills of Manufacturing to determine component parts and assembly sequences.
+ Make electrical connections on cords and wires according to specifications.
+ Modify parts using machine tools, power, and pneumatic hand tools.
+ Assemble parts and position, align, and fasten assemblies using hand tools and power tools.
+ Adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.
+ Measure parts to determine tolerances using tape measures and precision instruments like micrometers and calipers.
+ Attach labels and mark identifying information on parts.
+ Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure they meet specifications and customer requirements.
**Essential Skills**
+ Consistent work history with experience in manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, construction, or similar fields.
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Electrical experience for Bus Way Plugs.
+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools and reading tape measures for Bus Way Straights.
+ Experience with inventory tracking using computer systems for warehouse roles.
+ Desire to work in a production environment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to operate cordless hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools.
+ Physical ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs occasionally and up to 25 lbs frequently.
+ Finger dexterity for precise coordinated movements.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is clean and organized, with small assembly stations spaced 3-5 feet apart. Flexibility to work in various departments is encouraged. Some areas resemble a warehouse environment where material handling and cutting are involved. The facility is large, housing over 200 employees. Available shifts include: 1st Shift (M-TH 6:00AM - 4:00PM), 3rd Shift (M-TH 7:30PM - 5:00AM), Weekend Day Shift (F-SUN 6AM - 6PM), and Weekend Night Shift (F-SUN 6PM - 6AM). Dress code includes shorts or jeans, t-shirts, and steel-toe shoes. Orientation takes place at the Aerotek office.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $22.00/hr.
