**Aerotek is hiring Assemblers** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated Assemblers to join our production team. This role involves interpreting shop drawings and wiring diagrams, reading Bills of Manufacturing to determine component parts, and assembling electromechanical units according to specifications. **Responsibilities** + Interpret shop drawings and wiring diagrams. + Read and interpret Bills of Manufacturing to determine component parts and assembly sequences. + Make electrical connections on cords/wires according to specifications. + Modify parts using machine tools, power tools, and pneumatic hand tools. + Assemble parts, position, align, and fasten assemblies using hand tools and power tools. + Measure parts to determine tolerances using tape measures and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers. + Attach labels and mark identifying information on parts. + Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure they meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements. **Essential Skills** + Consistent work history with experience in manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, construction, or similar fields. + High School Diploma or GED. + Ability to use hand and power tools and read a tape measure for Bus Way Straights. + Experience with inventory tracking using computer systems for warehouse roles. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to operate cordless hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools. + Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs occasionally and up to 25 lbs often. + Finger dexterity for precise movements. **Why Work Here?** Employees enjoy exceptional health benefits and bonuses, including a $1,000 Christmas bonus and a 13% profit sharing bonus. Flexibility is encouraged as employees may work in different areas or departments, including warehouse environments. The facility is large, housing over 200 employees. Shifts include 1st (Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:00 PM), 3rd (Monday-Thursday, 7:30 PM-5:00 AM), Weekend Day (Friday-Sunday, 6:00 AM-6:00 PM), and Weekend Night (Friday-Sunday, 6:00 PM-6:00 AM). Weekend shifts are compensated for 40 hours if all three days are worked. Dress code includes shorts, jeans, t-shirts (excluding muscle t-shirts), and steel toe shoes. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CANONSBURG, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $22.00/hr.
