**Job Title: Assemblers** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled Assemblers to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in interpreting shop drawings, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Manufacturing to assemble electromechanical units. This position requires precision and attention to detail in making electrical connections, modifying parts, and ensuring all units meet specifications. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret shop drawings and wiring diagrams. + Interpret Bills of Manufacturing for component parts and assembly sequences. + Make electrical connections on cords and wires according to specifications. + Modify parts using machine tools, power, and pneumatic hand tools. + Assemble parts by positioning, aligning, and fastening assemblies using hand and power tools. + Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly. + Measure parts using tape measures, micrometers, and calipers to determine tolerances. + Attach labels and mark identifying information on parts. + Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to meet specifications and customer requirements. **Essential Skills** + Consistent work history in manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, construction, or similar fields. + High School Diploma or GED. + Electrical experience for Bus Way Plugs and ability to use hand and power tools for Bus Way Straights. + Experience with inventory tracking using computer systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Desire to work in a production environment. + Ability to operate cordless hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools. + Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs occasionally and up to 25 lbs often. + Finger dexterity for making precisely coordinated movements. **Why Work Here?** We offer exceptional health benefits, including full coverage with a low premium. Employees work 3-5 feet apart and may rotate across different work areas, including a warehouse environment. The facility is large, housing over 200 employees. Shifts include 1st (M-F 7:00AM - 3:00PM), 2nd (M-F 3:00PM - 11:00PM), and 3rd (M-TH 8:30PM - 7:00AM). Dress code includes shorts or jeans, t-shirts (no muscle t-shirts), and tennis shoes, with no open-toed shoes allowed. We have 150 openings and are open to training entry-level candidates. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CANONSBURG, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.50/hr.
