This person will contribute to the company’s success by performing a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical/electrical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products.
Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical/electrical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end productsAble to follow verbal and written instruction maintaining a focus on qualityFollows an engineering assembly process, but may require the ability to adjust, fit, or align partsUses hand tools such as long nose pliers, screw drivers, soldering irons, and wrenchesMaintains consistent quality and productivity levelsUses Microsoft Office programs Maintains neat and clean work areaIdentifies problems and contributes to process improvementsPerforms some hand soldering on electronic assembliesWillingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, flexible production state of the art environmentWorks as part of a team and collaborates to accomplish tasksTraversing across the production floor for the duration of their shiftAble to transport up to 30 lbsAbility to obtain a secret clearance which requires US CitizenshipEducation: High School
A minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.Experience: 24 months
