**Seeking Assembler Technicians to Join Our Team in St. Paul**
**$24-30/hr Depending on Experience**
**Job Description**
The Service Technician is responsible for servicing electronic and software-based medical devices according to product requirements. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and testing complex medical devices as part of the service department activities. The technician will also prepare service history records and analyze these records for trends and indicators of potential issues.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform troubleshooting of returned devices to confirm reported issues and determine appropriate repairs.
+ Interface with customers to facilitate the RMA process for devices requiring service.
+ Analyze service activities for trends and indicators to improve systems and processes.
+ Provide updates on the status of servicing activities and devices in the service process.
**Essential Skills**
+ Mechanical assembly
+ Medical assembly
+ Reading blueprints
+ Using power tools and torque wrenches
+ Documentation and traveler management
+ Electrical assembly
+ Troubleshooting electronics
+ Repair and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to solder
+ Service and maintenance skills
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 3-5 years of experience working with electronic devices
+ Experience with electronic circuits, functional testing, software testing, and electronic testing equipment
+ Familiarity with FDA, QSR, and ISO requirements
+ Ability to follow prints, SOPs, and document using computer systems
+ Preferred certification: IPC or J-STD soldering

**Work Environment**
The facility is very nice, clean, comfortable, and well-lit, suitable for building medical instruments. Although it is not a clean room, it adheres to regulated work environment standards. The current hours are from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, with a potential shift change to 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday later this year or early next year.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
