Assembler Technician - 2nd shift Olivette, MO $27.66 hourly
Assembler – (2nd Shift) Olivette, MO Pay Rate: $27.66/hour Full‑Time | 2nd Shift We are seeking a skilled Assembler – to support our manufacturing operations in St. Louis, Missouri. In this role, you will play a critical part in the production process by assembling high‑quality components that directly impact the performance and reliability of our products. Candidates selected for an onsite interview will be required to complete an in‑person skills assessment, including blueprint reading, measuring tools, and basic math. What You’ll Do Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions Set up and change over equipment for various assemblies Identify and use correct materials; plumb pneumatic and hydraulic lines Install motors, gearboxes, and drive components Test completed assemblies for proper fit and function Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures, squares, protractors) Accurately log assembly times and production data Document quality procedures and follow QMS requirements Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Transfer assemblies to the next production department Perform general maintenance on tools and equipment Safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and lift‑assist devices Follow all safety rules and plant procedures Perform other duties as assigned You Must Have Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience using hand tools and assembly equipment Knowledge of quality control processes Level 2: 1+ year of industrial assembly experience Level 1: 3+ years of industrial assembly experience Basic math, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team Strong attention to detail and communication skills We Value Experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment Commitment to quality and safety Willingness to learn new processes and technologies Technical education (a plus, not required) Computer literacy Ability to meet physical demands, including standing, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 40 lbs Additional Details Shift: 2nd Shift Employment Type: Full‑Time On‑Site Role: Yes Driving Required: No Security Clearance: Not required Education Requirement: No diploma/GED required (skills‑based hiring) If you’re a hands‑on assembler who takes pride in quality work and wants to earn competitive pay with a global manufacturing leader, apply today. **About ManpowerGroup, Parent Company of:** **Manpower, Experis, Talent Solutions, and Jefferson Wells** _ManpowerGroup® (NYSE: MAN), the leading global workforce solutions company, helps organizations transform in a fast-changing world of work by sourcing, assessing, developing, and managing the talent that enables them to win.
