Job Description

The Assembler III is responsible for assembling mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and electrical/electronic systems to create subassemblies, assemblies, or complete units. This role involves using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and various equipment to fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements. Additionally, it includes repairing units or products that have not met requirements. The position requires knowledge obtained through experience, specialized education, or training, and follows clearly defined procedures and tasks.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and electrical/electronic systems into subassemblies, assemblies, or complete units.Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous equipment to perform assembly tasks.Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet tolerances and product operating requirements.Repair units or products that fail to meet requirements.Follow well-defined procedures and guidelines to aid in decision making and ensure consistency in tasks.Essential SkillsProficiency in assembly techniques.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Experience with mechanical assembly.Skilled in using hand and power tools.Basic understanding of electrical components.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of mechanical assembly experience.Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Flower Mound, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
