Job Description

As an Assembler II, you will be responsible for the detailed assembly of in-process units, focusing on electrical wiring, brazing, air compressor installation, silicone sealing, and foaming. You may be placed on the standard line or the more intricate \"cyclone\" unit, which often involves double-door and heavier assembly tasks.

ResponsibilitiesInstall wire harnesses and connect wires according to diagrams.Use mallets, hand tools, rivet guns, and other power tools for compressor installation.Operate machinery to foam units for proper insulation.Perform silicone installation using a caulk gun.Engage in labor-intensive tasks such as caulking and foaming as required.Essential SkillsExperience in jobs requiring standing for at least 8 hours a day.Ability to repetitively lift 30-40lb parts up to 50+ times daily.Proficiency with power and hand tools from previous roles.Ownership of steel-toed or composite-toed protective footwear.Capability to work safely and produce high-quality work.Proven experience in mechanical assembly and wiring or brazing.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with air compressors is advantageous.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Our facility is a standard fabrication and assembly operation with two areas: fabrication and assembly. The fabrication area houses a massive laser cutting machine and several deburring and brazing stations. The assembly area lacks conveyors, with units moving on carts, and can feel cramped. It is temperature-controlled, though arm sleeves can make it feel warmer. The first shift runs from 6 am to 4:30 pm, with mandatory overtime on Fridays. Steel toes, safety glasses, protective cut sleeves, and cut gloves are required throughout the plant. Clothing must be made of cotton, canvas, or denim and worn at the waist with a belt if needed. No hoods are to be worn over the head.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
