Job Description

This position requires assembling parts according to drawings and procedures using tools and fasteners. The role involves performing a variety of subassembly and final assembly operations on units of varying shapes and sizes.

Responsibilities

Perform subassembly and final assembly operations using hand and power tools.Follow specified methods and procedures to complete designated assemblies.Conduct, analyze, and record test results.Ensure that each job meets all requirements before leaving the work center.Meet or exceed established production levels.Participate in supplier development.

Essential Skills

1.5+ years of experience in mechanical assembly.1.5+ years of experience in electrical assembly.Proficiency in using hand and power tools.Experience working from blueprints, diagrams, and electrical schematics.

Why Work Here?

Eligible for profit sharing after one year, with contract time counting towards this period. Profit sharing equals 10%, approximately $10,000 annually, added to an RRSP account. The work environment is well-lit with high ceilings, and the team is friendly with supportive supervisors.

Work Environment

The position is within a medium-sized manufacturing company featuring six assembly workstations, eight welding cells, a paint booth, and an EPOXY mold department with over ten machines. The facility spans over 200,000 square feet, is very clean, and brightly lit. Work hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm for the day shift and 3:30 pm to 12:00 am for the afternoon shift, with a $1 premium added for the afternoon shift.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
